Neil, UK, 2011 - This hostel is very warm and welcoming with the new management helpful and accomodating since they have took over.there is lots of dvds to choose to watch when you want to relax.

Ruth, Palmerston North, June 2011 - I found the MAP extremely helpful and recommend that ALL visitors receive one. Showers were great and was the pressure comming from the rose/shower unit. Place was a credit to the cleaning staff.

Sparklyfrogs - This was the nicest place i stayed in 7 months of travelling! Doug and Julie (the owners) are lovely and really helpful! They even gave me a job for a couple of weeks. Napier is a gorgeous city, well worth a visit. expecialy if you stay in Archies! (Trip Advisor, Sept 2008)

Clean and nice hostel in the middle of Napier.Great opportunity to explore the city. Big lounge and free DVD's to watch. Owners are really friendly and find seasonal work for you. (December 2009)
