James & Holly - What a lovely place!!!!!! Excellent service from Doug ( owner) who had great local knowledge and who took the time to point out great places to go and how to get there! Clean and nice hostel in the middle of Napier.Great opportunity to explore the city. Big lounge and free DVD's to watch. Owners are really friendly and find seasonal work for you. (December 2009)

Had a fantastic 3 months staying at Archies, met some awesome people & made some really good friends. Doug & Julie helped me find work locally & they were always willing to assist.
